I can't explain how this picture touches me on a visceral level. Her sweet smile, the message in those brown eyes meant only for me. This precious moment in time captured in a digital file but also in the depths of my heart.

Isn't blue the best? It can be soft and dreamy, solid and loyal or in this case just flat out knock your socks off!

Like one candle that shines in the night, this tiny waterlily lights up the dark pond. It's perfection makes me want to touch it.

That defines me also. When I see another beautiful day dawning, with the sun just popping over the neighbor's rooftop I think how marvelous that I'm here to see it, to capture this momentary cloud formation. I go to bed tired and beat down by life, but in the morning the day is just waiting for me to come and play.
